My what’s-its is completely debadged. I think the front looks good, but I keep going back and forth about the hatch.
Bumper is getting repainted this week. Yay!
I think it would look a bit better if I has the “L” back there, and maybe leave off Is 300 and Lexus (the one that actually spells out LEXUS) badges. Because if I put all those on, I may as well just throw up my arms and un-debadge the front of the car too.
What do you fellow, uh, fellows think? Add the L? Add the rest? Leave it alone?

I’d say put the L back on.

I think it looks kinda weird without the Lexus L, I say put that back on and leave off the rest of the badges.

You can get a name for it at masqueunauto.com Toyota’s been doing it for some time, they’ll send you up to 8 characters in the present car name typeface.

Or import some ALTEZZA nameplaces from Japan!

Personally, I’d try to get my hands on some JDM Altezza Gita badges and put them on, but that’s just me.

Put an L and a set of red taillights (or have them tinted red)

Put the L back on there, because it looks weird without it.
But definitely leave off the other badges in the back, I think it looks much cleaner without them.

I tried finding those for sale, but I found that two guys just tinted themselves, which I’m not too comfortable attempting.

Put a Toyota badge where the L used to be.

Too honest, like when I see Toyota Aristos everywhere lately.

Add just the L

I imagine any body shop familiar with customization would do it, then you’d know it’s been well done. Or ask wherever you end up taking your bumper to

You should put Oldsmobile badges on it to confuse people.

Unless it’s just a straight badge job, and the change to a Lexus didn’t include body work too, I would vote no.
Plus, he paid good money for that Lexus, you’ve got to flaunt that!

I’m surprised the L badge isn’t riveted into the trunk like most are. My Mercedes badge is, but thankfully the annoying C230 and Kompressor were just taped so they just came off.

Yeah, you can rub shoulders with the Toyota Celsiors and Harriers too.
Although the Toyota Altezza had a special badge on the front and no center badge at all in the back, so a Toyota oval would actually be very unique. Your lack of a Lexus badge is “more JDM” than a Toyota badge in its place.

I say add the “L” only or stay completely debadged. Can you get the “L” in something restrained like black (or at least not gold)? Black would nicely accessorize your bumper...

Stick a Mazda and protege5 badge, then see confused faces in your mirror

The “Gita” part of the Japan version emblem is sorta neat though.
I vote keep it as stock as possible. Been there when doing my GS430 trunklid.

I have been seeing Aristos everywhere recently. They’re sexy things.

Put Honda or Mazda badges on it. Or Mercedes.

Maybe try to find a company that will make a vinyl overlay for the section you would prefer not to be clear?
I did this with my Civic. Brown car would be before look, black would be after
Maybe they could make you something?
